GENERAL PURPOSE

The Sales Equipment Inventory Coordinator will provide support for mainline sales representatives, the Company, an! d walk-in customers. Activity will involve CCE delivery, demonstration (as qualified), and coordination of equipment and attachments in yard area and customer locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively represent the company in appearance, attitude and work habits. Cooperate with and support others in the Company, Caterpillar and our other suppliers. Safe and responsible operation of company vehicles. Prompt completion of required paperwork. Direct and inform customers of sales inventory. Ability to operate, load and unload heavy and industrial equipment from trucks. Must be able to direct transport drivers where and when to load and unload equipment. Review bill of ladings for accuracy to what is being delivered or shipped to or from the yard. Fill out appropriate manufactures and Wyoming Machinery Company's shipping documents. Scan and email shippers and receivers to Casper office daily. Accurately measure and record tire tread, tire conditi! on, machine condition and make undercarriage measurements. Che! ck oil levels, antifreeze levels, fuel levels and condition, air pressure check tires, jump start equipment, service oil and antifreeze levels if needed. Operate a forklift properly. Rig a load correctly to be picked by crane or forklift. Operate & evaluate equipment for their condition of runability and inspect for deficiencies related to proper operation. Use Global Product Quote (GPQ) program for machine availability and location of machines.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to blade and maintain equipment yard and plow snow. Store and identify inventory in the yard. Display equipment in the yard. Maintain a safe yard free from debris, trash and tripping hazards. Take oil samples of machine's components. Install unit numbers, decals, and MMT stickers on equipment. Maintain attachment and industrial inventory lines in orderly display. Demonstrate basic machine operation to customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY !

Self-motivated. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Ability to work effectively with others, both inside and outside the company. Basic public speaking skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Mechanical background and heavy equipment operating and loading experience are required. Good verbal and written skills. Forklift operation. Basic computer skills required.

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

High School graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Mechanical background, operation of heavy and industrial equipment is required. Demonstrate a clear safety record.

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED

Expense accounting and the like. Product literature and reference material. Company files. Operating company vehicles. Operating earth-moving equipment. Will include receiving-shipping papers, Caterpillar in-service documentation, track measuring equipment, tire gauge and! tread gauge. Oil sample kits, hand tools and decals. Crowbars and sled! ge hammers. Air compressor, Forklift, chains and boomers. Coveralls. Rain gear. Cold weather clothes, tape measure. CAT performance handbook, Serial number book, and Personal protective equipment for eyes, ears, feet, hands, and breathing if needed. Other materials used include digital camera, scanner, and fax machine.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Normal hours 7am to 4pm. Some long hours in summer and winter due to late equipment arrivals and snow removal. Work in all weather, rain, snow and sun. Inside and outside. Use hands, arms and legs to climb up and on equipment. Swing up to a 25# sledgehammer. Company facilities, customer offices and job sights. Physical activities include normal office work, driving, climbing on machines, capability to see, hear and feel machine condition indications. Able to work long days. Some travel required.
