LANDER FIELD OFFICE
The Lander Field Office encompasses 6.6 million acres in central Wyoming. The Lander Field Office includes most of Fremont County, the southwest corner of Natrona County, and small portions of Carbon, Sweetwater and Hot Springs counties. Of the 6.6 million acres, 2.5 million acres are public lands managed by the BLM. The Lander Field Office also manages approximately 2.7 million ac! res of Federal mineral estate and 2.5 million acres of Indian ! mineral estate.

DUTIES:
The incumbent will serve on a range staff comprised of sevenother members; including five rangeland management specialists, one natural resource specialist and one range technician. Incumbent provides direct administrative and technical support to the range staff and has responsibility for coordination of al! l grazing authorizations issued by the Lander Field Office. Will possess overall responsibility for coordination and issuance of all grazing authorizations for approximately 300 permittees/lessees, and 280,000 animal unit months (AUMs) in the Lander Field Office.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Specialized Experience Requirements :
To qualify at the GS-5 level, you must have one year specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade (GS-04) of the position to be filled. Examples of this specialized experience would include: maintaining files, maintaining databases, maintaining records, using databases to prepare reports, etc.
OR
Four (4) years of education above high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite;
OR
Equivalent combination of education and specialized experience. In order to be rated as qualified for this ! position, we must be able to determine that you meet the specialized ex! perience requirement.

To qualify at the GS-5 level, you will need at least one year of work experience equivalent to the GS-4 level, or four years of education above high school.
