Job Duties:
- Installation and servi ce of Dish Network Satellite systems
- Meet current Dish Network (and Star West Satellite) performance standards
- Provide outstanding customer service and quality of work
- Equipment accountability
- Secure and adequate storage for all equipment from Star West
- Inventory Spot Audits at the local office
- Proper m aintenance and upkeep of vehicle used for work (personal or company)
- Must be able to understand and work on computers
- Must be able to understand and learn low voltage
- Must become FSS-100, 200, 300 Certified ~ offered through Star West Satellite
- SBCA Certification preferred
- General construction knowledge helpful
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test
- Must pass driving history investigation
- Must pass written driving exam and mechanical aptitude test
- Must be able to work out of a late model white pickup or commercial van and abide by all ‘Star West Satellite Technician Owned Vehicle Policies’

- Must be able to carry approximately 50 lbs of weight up and/or down ladder
- Must be able to carry approximately 75 lbs of weight on level, inclined or sloping ground
- The combined weight of a person's body and tools and/or equipment must not exceed the standard 300-pound weight capacity designated to ladders
- Must be able to stand on ladder for average of 3 hours per day
- Must be able to crawl on knees for average of 2 hours per day
- Must be able to sit in vehicle during travel for extended lengths of time
- Must be able to bend at waist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, walk, stand, climb, push, pull, lift, twist, balance on ladder, grip or grasp hand tools or equipment, fine finger manipulation, rotation of both wrists, extend and/or rotate arms
- Must be able to distinguish between various colors
- Must be able to hear specific tones
- Must be able to work in all North West weather conditions
