State Fund’s Insured Claims and State Contract Services have multiple openings for Workers’ Claims Adjusters (WCCA). These positions may be filled in the following State Fund locations:
Kern, Shasta, Fresno, Los Angeles, Ventura, Alameda, Humboldt, Riverside, Sonoma, Sacramento, Glendale, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Luis Obispo, Orange, or San Joaquin County.
Under the direction of the Assistant Claims Manager, the incumbent will:
- Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision, according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and DWC laws and regulations
- Proactively and independently, manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory
- Work collaboratively as a member within a team of claims professionals and with other stakeholders
- Serve as a resource to other team members and/or other internal staff
- Ensure delivery of a high quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties
Telework may be available and is subject to change based on State Fund guidelines and business needs. Candidates must reside in California to be eligible for this appointment.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
- Self-motivated
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and control a workers’ compensation insurance claims caseload
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills including managing working virtually

SALARY: $4,091 - $6,981/per month depending on experience.
