This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understand! ing and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
High school diploma/GED
PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience.
Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics
Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment
MSHA approval for surface mine electrician.
