RANGE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Development, construction and sustainment of C-IED (Counter Improvised Explosive Device) lane, Convoy Live Fire Range, All Urbanized training areas, Urban Assault Course, Live Fire Breach Facility, Live Fire Shoot house, and other Non-Standard ranges located at Camp Guernsey.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plans, schedules, and writes specifications for range and maintenance upgrades.
Manages range inventories, hand receipts, orders tools and supplies.
Manages and supervises skilled building and maintenance trades positions and! assigned ADOS (Active Duty Operational Support) employees.
Schedule personnel for both maintenance activities and range control operations within the Training Complex
Create, track and schedule maintenance for the complex to include all electronic and mechanical targetry and systems which includes high and low voltage systems and mechanical pneumatic equipment.
Trains assigned personnel on the safety and operations of all ranges and courses.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of building planning, construction and supervision of projects.
Knowledge of structural and mechanical techniques used in construction of buildings.
Knowledge of grounds maintenance and utility distribution, repair and emergency response.
Knowledge of federal, state and agency purchasing and property control procedures.
Knowledge of military range operations and range safety.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, ! plumbing and HVAC. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree (typically in Management) PLUS Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Skilled Trades) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Skilled Trades Specialist OR Education & Experience Substitution: 3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Skilled Trades) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Skilled Trades Specialist Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None

As a condition of employment applicant must successfully pass and maintain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or higher level background check which includes FBI fingerprint.
