For complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Description/Job Summary Full TIme Human Resource Generalist located in Worland, Wyoming. Part of a team of HR, Payroll, Benefit and Safety Specialists and Managers serving over 30 locations and 1800 employees by phone, email and in person for a multistate operation. Assists management in all phases of human resources activity including but not limited to recruiting, interviewing, benefits, payroll, training, new employee orientation, unemployment cl! aims, accident and incident investigation, worker s compensati! on, leave management, performance reviews, progressive discipline and termination. Requires travel by car and plane and flexible work hours to meet needs of the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and understands documentation of company policies, benefits and personnel transactions such as
hiring, workers compensation, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, progressive discipline and
terminations.
Advise site and department managers, verbally and in writing, of company policy regarding employment
regulations, compensation, and employee benefits.
Develops and conducts employee training programs as assigned.
Plans and conducts employee interviews and orientations to foster understanding and positive attitudes toward
company goals and programs.
Monitors and analyzes the implementation of company compensation and benefits guidelines to ensure
compliance and ! effectiveness.
Investigates and documents incidents of company policy and procedure violations and facilitates corrective
action to management.
Monitors wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
Prepares job descriptions for all positions in assigned organization and conducts analysis to determine
appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policy formulated by Human Resources
Department.
Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions as directed by management.
Represents the company at employee related hearings and investigations.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four year college or university program certificate in Human Resources; or two to four years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common professional journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or
members of the business community. Ability to write correspondence that conforms to prescribed style and
format. Ability to effectively present information to top management and public groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference,! and fundamentals of
plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to
practical situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in personal computer word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications. Must be able to
travel overnight across multi-state region on regular basis; occasionally with short notice.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an
extensive variety of technical/regulatory instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to confidentially deal with sensitive employee relations
matters at all levels of the organization.
