Key Responsibilities & Activities
MOC process for plant
Quality system
Joint Venture plant utilities measurement and reporting system
New proces! s development
Process improvement, e.g. additives
Operational Excellence program
State Water Treatment certification
Technical training
Project documentation
Investigate / resolve customer complaints at plant level
Identify and develop process control mechanisms
Interact with Corporate Technology Group
Execute projects in support of capital plan
Track / optimize all additives to process
Support Utilities process needs
Relieve for Utility staff positions
Acts as process expert, develops process documentation
Help ensure compliance with product specific regulatory and customer requirements
Train / teach operators about new processes and process improvements
Participate in safety hazards reviews
Mentor new Utilities Engineers
Generate Utilities reports
Perform Weekend Duty
Analysis of AFE’s
Support Responsible Care program
Required Education:
B.S. in Engineering - Chemical! or Mechanical, Chemical preferred
Qualifications:!
3-5+ years of industrial experience
Utilities experience and familiarity of emission control equipment, coal fired boilers, combustion control/balancing, boiler chemistry is preferred
Strong Chemical or Mechanical Skills
Good computer skills and well experienced in using Excel, MS Project, MS Word, SAP and PI
