Emergency Room RN

Description: Wyoming Medical Center is at the momment seeking for Emergency Room RN right now, this occupation will be placed in Wyoming. Role As a pivotal partner within the health care delivery team, the Registered Nurse will ensure the delivery of quality patient care, both individually as well as through leadership and d! elegation to other team members. Education and Experience Associate’s degree in Nursing from accredited school of Nursing or successful completion of Diploma RN program is required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Nursing is preferred. One year specific experience and successful completion of appropriate training or residency when applicable are required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Current Wyoming RN license is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers is required. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within 12 months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) is required within 12 months of hire.

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is required within 12 months of hire. Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) is acceptable in lieu of TNCC, but any employee choosing to achieve or maintain TNATC ra! ther than TNCC will do so at his/her own expense. Supervisory ! Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities for assigned LPNs and CNAs. This position may be assigned to the Charge Nurse role following appropriate training (see Leadership Duties below).

When assigned as Charge Nurse, this position has supervisory responsibilities for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff.
