The Casper Star-! Tribune is seeking an editor to be part of its management team. This position will supervise a 40-person news staff effectively communicating with other managers, editors, and reporters, ensuring all news content is well produced and thoroughly reported. The editor will play a vital role in strategic planning contributing innovative ideas that will enhance news content and delivery.
Candidates must have a deep understanding of both traditional and new media, delivering high-quality news through multiple formats that best appeal to our local, statewide, and regional audiences.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across multiple platforms and meet deadlines are a must.
A bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field with three to five years of experience in news management, reporting, and editing is preferred.
