District Sales Manager

Location: Sheridan Wyoming

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial wire-ropesservicing the lifting, material handling, oil, mining, communications, marine and fishing industries. We are looking for a territory sales manager to cover the Powder ! Basin supporting the mining industry. This is a home office position. Territory:
Multi-State Coverage in the Central / Northern Rocky Mountain area.

Critical Skills:
The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of the surface mining business including experience at the mine site level.

Scope:
Promote the profitable sales of products within the assigned geographical area. Foster and maintain existing customer relationships and develop new accounts and business prospects. Educate customers and end users on the safe and proper use and the benefits of using our products. Assist in the promotion and sales of all our products at Key Distributors within the assigned territory. Support internal decision-making processes through in-depth market intelligence, and enhance the our brand reputation by providing! exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
Develop Annual Forecast and meet or exceed established targets for sales revenue and profitability.
Develop and execute sound commercial strategies and key account plans. Negotiate annual pricing/supply agreements, and utilize value-selling methodologies.
Develop strong relationships with existing customers and active account prospecting where market share opportunities exist. Generate new business at existing accounts by leveraging our product capabilities and technical expertise.
Provide timely and accurate inputs into the Quarterly forecasting process for product volumes and average values.
Provide exceptional customer service. Answer inquiries, prioritize customer requirements, and expedite the delivery of critical orders.
Address technical/product quality issues as they arise. Assist in claim investigation and resolution, provide written corrective actions, and participate in customer audits and mill visits.
Leverage our technical resourc! es to develop New Product Development opportunities within your assigned region.
Collect and disseminate a variety of market/customer/competitor intelligence.
