Pediatric Hospitalist

Description: Pediatrix is currently seeking to employ Pediatric Hospitalist right now, this position will be placed in Wyoming. We have an exciting opportunity for a BC/BE pediatrician to help start a new hospitalist program at Wyoming Regional Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. This position requires rounding ! on both pediatric inpatients and normal newborns then taking call from home. There is a 15-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of three and the newborn nursery with an average daily census of five. This position also includes being available to support family medicine residents with high-risk deliveries, which averages one per month. This is a 2.5 FTE model with 12-15 shifts per month. A leadership opportunity is available as well. The pediatric hospitalist will work at a facility which is located in a Health Professional Shortage area (HPS) or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/MUP).
