Environmental Engineering Coordinator
Location: Green River Wyoming
Description: FMC Corp is at present recruited Environmental Engineering Coordinator right now, this position will be placed in Wyoming. For complete informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable environmental regulations
- Regulatory compliance oversight (air, water, lan! d, wildlife, waste, toxics, DOT)
- Regulatory notification, reporting, and permitting
- Coordination and oversight of a major plant or program environmental activities
- Employee development and performance
- Environmental and safety audits
- Educate employees on environmental compliance requirements
- Interact with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
- Prepare regulatory reports for air quality permits, waterfowl permits, mining permits, UIC permits, TSCA, RCRA and others as needed.
- Work with appropriate regulatory agencies to obtain permits for the Westvaco and Granger facilities
- Design environmental data collection systems for reporting and compliance monitoring
- Prepare employee development plans
- Conduct employee performance assessments
- Obtain and maintain required and appropriate certifications (e.g., opacity, asbestos, DOT, REM, CHMM, PE, as required)
- Monito! r hazardous and non-hazardous waste generation rates and arran! ge hazardous waste shipments
- Manage the waterfowl program
- Maintain environmental records
- Investigate and report environmental incidents, and recommend mitigation
- Participate in weekend duty rotation
- Provide support for capital projects
- Participate in Responsible Care and ISO 9000 management system activities
- Gather Sustainability metrics and perform reporting as required
- Perform safety and environmental audits
- Participate in industry working groups and coalitions
- Associates degree in Environmental Science, or
- B.S. in Engineering with Environmental Emphasis, or
- B.S. in Environmental Management, or
- B.S. in Engineering or Physical Sciences
- Plus relevant environmental experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant environmental experience
- Minimum 5 years chemical or ma! nufacturing plant experience
