KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of budgetary processes, proven written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. The candidate will need to show effective leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
Must be able to create and manage multiple budgets
Manage multiple facilities on a daily basis. Travel to designated loca! tions will be on a regular basis.
Troubleshoot varous! facility issues and analyzes various failure to root cause and move forward in completing task.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to create reports using Excel and other Microsoft applicatons.
Preferred to have knowledge of accounting software (SAP)
Must have excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to interact with everyone with maturity and professionalism
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelorâs Degree
5 years of experience working with facilities required
2 years as a Facilities Manager for a large industrial facility preferred
Experience with SAP accounting or similar accounting system highly preferred
Must be on call in case of emergency 24/7
Solid Microsoft Office applications
Ability to use Excel spreadsheet formulas and input data for budgetary purposes
Excellent Customer Service skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
The Facilities Manager should also have the ability to:
Be diplomatic in directing the work of outside vendors and contractors while managing the quality of work and deadlines
Resolve issues by thinking outside the processes when needed
Create a working budget and be responsible for the costs associated with it
Take direction and carry out assignments
