ABSTRACTTo assist in maintaining the organization and operations of the office of the Superintendent and school board while promoting an atmosphere c! onducive to the effective operation of a school.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESâ¢Keeps superintendent and board calendars.â¢Gathers and organizes all Superintendentâs correspondence and reports.â¢Organizes the superintendentâs schedule. â¢Prepares all Superintendent and Board travel.â¢Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning district business in any public setting and chooses the appropriate time, place, and supervisor to discuss problems. . â¢Uses positive verbal and non-verbal communication and interaction skills when working with all students, parents, and all district personnel at all times.
- Maintains an efficient filing system for the Superintendent. â¢Monitors and follows through district requisitions needing superintendentâs approval.â¢Secures signatures of staff members on identified district forms as needed. â¢Attends staff meetings as directed. â¢Records, transcribes all monthly regular Board meetings, special! board meetings, hearings, work sessions and recreation board ! minutes.â¢Prepares monthly board packets.â¢Collaborates in preparing board meeting agendas with Superintendent, Board Chair and Business Manager.â¢Sets up interviews and appointments as directed by Superintendent.â¢Maintains confidentiality of all information concerning district in any public setting and chooses the appropriate time, place, and supervisor to discuss problems.
