Assures compliance with all federal, state or provincial, and local regulations.
Assures adherence to facility budget.
Assures a stable staff of optimal quantity and quality by recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating employees.
Assures all employees consistently educated and trained, including to fulfill any federal and/or state or provincial regulations, through new employee orientation and regular education and training classes.
Assures adherence to all human resources systems so that employees treated fairly and equitably according to federal and state or provincial regulations as well as Legacy policy.
Assures adherence to all health and safety systems so that health and safety of residents, employees, and visitors consistently protected
Assures adherence to all activities systems so that physical, intellectual, creative, recreational, social, and spiritual needs of residents consistently addressed.
Assures adherence to all food services systems so that nutrition needs of residents consistently addressed, by serving appetizing, attractive, nutritious meals in pleasant dining environment prepared according to highest food sanitation standards.
Assures adherence to all housekeeping systems so that facility interior consistently clean, orderly, and attractive.
Assures adherence to all maintenance systems so that facility and grounds consistently safe, well maintained, and attractive.
Assures adherence to all marketing systems so that 100 per cent occupancy can be achieved and maintained with consistently satisfied residents.
Assures adherence to all accounting systems so that correct procedures consistently used for accurate recording of revenues and expenses, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting.
Assures adherence to all quality assurance systems so that continuous improvement of all facility operations occurs.
Assures adherence to all risk management systems so that challenging resident and employee problems identified, addressed, resolved, and documented.
Assures maintenance of resident information files.
Assures resident, employee, or physical plant problems that arise either during or after usual business hours are addressed promptly and effectively by being on site or assuring that assistant manager(s) on site.
Performs staff duties necessary for immediate facility operation in case of staffing problem.
Performs other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.
Assures Regional Manager is regularly informed of facility status and particularly of any significant problems for which guidance is necessary.
Effectively and dynamically leads employees, inspiring their confidence and motivating them to consistently perform their duties according to highest standards.
Assures environment for employees in which they consistently feel valued and respected.
Assures environment for residents in which excellent customer service consistently offered.
Assures positive relationship with family members and/or significant others of residents.
Assures positive relationship between facility and community so that they serve as resources for one another.
Maintains current food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
Obtains within 90 days of hire date and/or maintains ServSafe Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification.
Maintains current CPR and first aid certification.
COMPENSATION
Basic: Competitive compensation based on experience and skills
Benefits: Insurance Benefits available to eligible employees working 30+ hours/week
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least a high school diploma / GED
Must be legally qualified to work in the US
Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties
