Description
Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a team of business analysts to manage the gathering, validation, and documentation of customer and system requirements for an enterprise level system development effort.
The position is located in Cheyenne, WY. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit, an organization that serves the IT needs of state and local governments.
The selected candidate will coordinate all requirements definition and analysis efforts including, coordinating with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, and data input requirements. This position acts as a liaison between customer and developments teams, and conduct requirements reviews to support system planning, development, test, and implementation. The lead business analyst will participate in system engineering reviews, reviewing document deliverables, project risk management activities, and quality control activities.
This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel is required.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degrees in information technology or a related field and 10+ years experience in business analysis for information systems (or MS with 8 years). Equivalent years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience with requirements management tools
·
Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow
·
Ability to communicate effectively with project staff, project management, and customers to solve complex issues
·
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
·
Understanding of systems design and development processes
·
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with and knowledge of human services programs
·
