Position Overview
RetroForce Toy Store is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in preparing for the highly anticipated LA Comic Con in December. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of event planning and logistics, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience for both our team and attendees.
Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and Comic Con membrs to ensure timely setup, efficient communication, and adherence to event guidelines.
2. Logistics Management: Oversee event logistics, including booth placement, signage, equipment setup, and traffic flow to ensure a smooth and organized event environment.
3. Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage event schedules, coordinate staffing requirements, and ensure all team members are well-informed about their roles and responsibilities.
4. On-Site Support: Be a point of contact during the event, addressing any issues that may arise, overseeing last-minute changes, and ensuring everything runs according to plan.
5. Promotions and Marketing: Assist in promoting the event through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships, to drive attendance and engagement.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal team and external partners to align event goals, manage expectations, and ensure all parties are well-prepared for the event.
7. Attendee Experience: Focus on enhancing the attendee experience by creating engaging activities, interactive displays, and memorable moments.
8. Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and tracking, ensuring that all event-related expenses are within allocated budgets.
