Junior Social Media Manager [South Africa]


 

We have an exciting new position for an individual who is passionate about social media and has a sound knowledge of digital marketing. The successful incumbent would be a social guru who loves to engage with the masses.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Community Management – Daily Monitoring of various Social Pages for various Brands.
  • Social Media Management – Creating monthly content plans and competitions with conceptual ideas that build social communities, scheduling content and creating monthly reports.

    Social Training – Create Social Media Training packs that can be disseminated to employees that work on the social pages but don’t have formal Social Media training.
  • Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Management – Ability to work effectively within a team and independently to manage expectations. Sharing knowledge on current technologies and social trends to be at the forefront of innovation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification in Social Media Management, Marketing or related field is essential
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Minimum 12 months recent Community and Social Media Management experience
  • Digital marketing experience beneficial
Skills Required:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Must be able to multitask and work to strict deadlines
  • Must have a customer service mindset.
