The Supervisor Maintenance is a rotating shift role, accountable for leading maintenance activities. This role will have key accountabilities for coordinating day to day maintenance activities by communicating essential planning information and shift knowledge to crew members. The role requires a high level of energy and safety leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively works to reduce risk at all levels of the organization. Demonstrates a willingness and ability to contribute to the formal safety systems within CPE.
Demonstrate! s the ability to be a positive leader in the maintenance depar! tment and is willing to correct issues as they arise as well as reward positive performance within a timely manner.
Monitors CMMS for correctness of maintenance downtime information and reconcile maintenance events with EMESA and production.
Exhibits high-quality mechanical ability and understands mechanical systems of large earth moving equipment trucks, dozers and other major mining support equipment.
Must have the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, understand service manuals, read schematics, and pursue available resources.
Demonstrates patience and a willingness to train newly hired tradesmen.
Demonstrates the ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems such as Ellipse, EMESA Modular.
Must show a willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work with little or no supervision, including the ability to assume additional responsibility with minimal supervision.
Consi! stently display positive behavior that supports the organization’s goals and objectives
Communicates effectively with others by providing information for planning, prioritizing and completing tasks.
Must be a self-starter, safety conscious, and able to function in other support requirements as needed.
Must be a positive leader, high-quality communicator, willingness to learn and safety conscious.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Five years maintenance experience.
Two years leadership experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Wyoming Surface Coal Foreman certification or ability to get temporary permit and pass next test.
High school diploma or equivalent.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
B.S. Mechanic/Electrical Engineering or related fiel! d.
Candidates with technical school education.
Knowle! dge of Ellipse and EMESA.
