Description: Laramie County Community College is at present recruited Library Assistant/Computer Aide, Albany County Campus right now, this vacancy will be placed in Wyoming. Work in a library setting, assisting patrons with circulation processes while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Assist patrons with computer workstations, printers, photocopier, and scanner.
Start Date: Spring 2014.
Compensation: $8.00/hr
Essential Functions:
Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service
Answer the phone, take messages, transfer calls, and give accurate! information about campus services and locations.
Assist l! ibrary patrons with circulation processes
Check material in and out
Operate Sirsi circulation software
Navigate WYLDcat for item searches
Make library cards
Record transactions
Shelve material
Assist with technical services including materials processing, inventory, and collection maintenance
Perform other projects: light typing, filing, data entry, maintain patron supplies, operate office machines, keep walkways free of obstacles, answer phones, and other office duties
Monitor students’ use of computer lab, assist with basic hardware/software questions and problems, especially concerning EaglesEye and Angel/LMS

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
