Intensive Care Nurse - ICU Nurse - (ICU RN)

As a valued me! mber of this elite Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will care for patients with a full spectrum of conditions, even complex cases. The right candidate for this role will be experienced, innovative, and compassionate. This environment is caring and patient-centric, providing an excellent opportunity to work on complex cases utilizing state of the art equipment with a dedicated team.
Critical care nurses (CCU RNs) assist in the treatment of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions, in settings requiring continuous vigilance, complex assessment, and high-intensity therapies and interventions. Working with the patients and their families, ICU RNs strive to create healing, humane and caring environments while also focusing on patient advocacy, working in settings such as intensive care units and cardiac care units, where patients require complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance.

Since i! ts inception as a frontier “tent†hospital in 1867, this tertiary hospital has served its patients in Cheyenne, Wyoming and the surrounding region with a framework of pioneer spirit. This 222-bed facility is a Level 2 trauma center, houses the Wyoming Heart and Vascular Institute, and has the only cancer center in Wyoming that is accredited by American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
