Key Job Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Must have basic mecha! nic skills and be able to pass a 1 st class welding test which consists of a 1 inch bend test and a written tipple mechanics test. Must also be able to work at heights and in confined areas. This position will also be responsible for repair work to stationary and structural equipment used for coal processing, along with pump coupling alignment, belt alignment, conveyor belt maintenance, and hydraulic maintenance. Clean work areas as needed and other work associated with the daily operation of a surface coal mine, located near Kemmerer, Wyoming. Employees are part of a diverse team committed to safety and working Incident and Injury Free (IIF).
Required Skills
Must have basic mechanic skills and be able to pass a 1 st class welding test which consists of a 1 inch bend test and a written tipple mechanics test.
Valid Drivers License and Good Driving Record
High School Diploma or GED equilevant
Must be able to work rotating shifts an! d weekends
Successfully complete qualification testin! g
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Prior mechanical experience or mechanical technical education.
Ability to perform all duties and activities in a manner which conforms to mine safety requirements.
