OneCIS, a division of Bureau Veritas, is currently looking for an Authorized Inspector to handle work in and around Casper, WY.
Under direct supervision, the Authorized ! Inspector performs:
- Basic inspections of boilers and pressure vessels manufactured by OneCIS clients to ensure compliance with codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Reviews blue prints, manufacturing standards and conducts testing of boilers and pressure vessels.
- Documents and monitors the quality control system through ASME review and verification process.
- Ensures compliance with applicable sections of the ASME Code, National Board and jurisdictional requirements for fabrication activities and authorized inspection services
- Certifies products based on ASME code requirements or submits recommendations for corrective action to ensure compliance with code and jurisdictional requirements.
- Must have the ability to interact with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the boil! er and pressure vessel industry, such as design fabrication, o! peration, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.
- One to Four years of relevant experience.
- National Board Commission with 'A' endorsement is a MUST
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus technical training in boiler and pressure vessel inspections.
