A highly motivated and ambitious CPA is required to join a producer as the new Assistant Controller. Our client will offer the opportunity to gain experience in a great industry and the opportunity to p! rogress into senior management.
Reporting directly to the CFO and Controller, the successful candidate will have ownership of financial functions critical to the company’s growth and success. Specifically, the individual will be primarily responsible for monthly financials, financial reporting, variance analysis, some internal reporting, supervision of staff and serving as primary liaison with auditors.
In addition to strong technical skills, the candidate brings a superior work ethic, a high attention to detail, positive team attitude, and an understanding that no task or responsibility is too small in a company targeting aggressive growth. The candidate will have a CPA designation and brings previous experience in the mining industry or public reporting experience.
