Jackson Pharmacy Professionals is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Manager for a Full Time opportunity in the Cheyenne, WY area. This position is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Manager will report to the Director of Pharmacy and will be responsible for coordinating the decentralized pharmacy activity, preparing and presenting drug reviews, working with the P&T committee and other groups as assigned, providing oversight and direction for the anticoagulation clinic, orienting and instructs pharmacists, interns, technicians, and students, assists pharmacy staff in situations requiring advanced knowledge or judgment including renal dosing, facilitate the development and implementation of treatment guidelines, protocols, formulary changes and critical pathways as approved and authorized by appropriate committees, publish a pharmacy newsletter for physicians and other health professionals at least monthly, maintains and keeps current the clinical library, works as a staff pharmacist when needed, and take administrative call on rotational basis as required.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
- Clean and Clear Wyoming Pharmacy license
- Experience with Epic is preferred
- A Minimum of 4 years of Hospital experience is required
- PGY1 residency in hospital pharmacy or experience as a clinical coordinator
- Must be a team player
